Anxiety that he might be punished for not keeping the law perfectly dominated his soul. The more I focused on completing the law, the more difficult it became. What could this ‘obsession’ be but death? The force that drives us like this is the ‘spirit of fearful slavery.’

Christians today may have the form of being God's children, but may not have the actual content. In many cases, they still live as servants rather than as children. We are trapped in a small world called ‘self’ and live thinking that it is the whole world. Would you be happy if you achieved some level of self-accomplishment in that way? Can we live like an orphan and experience the kind of life that is only possible for the sons and daughters of God? The word ‘orphan’ here is used as a metaphor, so please do not misunderstand.

Life as a child is not easy in our daily lives. First of all, this is because ‘life as a species’ and ‘life as a child’ overlap.
